Get to Know Us
Our location has provided a wig salon to the community since 1980, Joy Grogg took over the location and opened Tres Joli Wig Salon in 2012. In 2013 her son, Micah Grogg, and daughter in law, Christy Grogg, joined her in business with their online "sister" store and worked together for the next 10 years.
At Tres Joli Wig Salon Joy had a simple business plan "to make people happy". Through her love for helping people and her extensive knowledge and continued alternative hair education, Joy became a beloved figure in the community working with countless cancer patiences all over the Central Coast. For years clients have traveled from all over California just to see her.
Sadly in May of 2023 Joy was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer and quickly passed away in June of 2023. The plan was for her son and daughter in law to take over the salon when she was ready to retire, although the torch was passed much sooner than planned, Micah and Christy Grogg are continuing Joy's legacy, one of genuine care for the client, and the business plan "to make people happy".
